Disney to lunch new streaming service (Disney Plus) this November to watch all Disney productions

Disney has now announced the forth coming release of a new streaming platform ‘Disney Plus’ which launches in November 12 in the US, Canada and the Netherlands, and on November 19, in Australia and New Zealand. With Disney Plus, viewers will be able to stream all Disney movies, tv shows, reality shows, documentaries, and classics. The Disney plus streaming service will most likely be a competing threat to other streaming services such as Netflix and HBO. This means we won’t be seeing Disney movies in Netflix anymore from late 2019. Disney Plus will be running on Roku’s boxes, sticks and TVs, Apple TV, iPhone and iPad, Phones and TVs running on Android operating systems, Chromecast streamers, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

Cost of streaming Disney Plus:

  • US – $7/month or $70/year
  • D23 fan-club members and people attending the D23 conference gets a cuts of $23 off yearly plan if subscribing for three years.
  • Canada – $9/month or $90/year
  • Netherlands – €7/month or €70/year
  • Australia – $9/month or $90/year
  • New Zealand – $10/month or $10/year

During the period of release of Disney Plus, Disney’s big films will also be aired for the holiday season, which include ‘Frozen 2’ slated for November 22 and ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ slated for December 20.
